Yes, it’s true---we’ve  put a shovel in the ground at Northgate High School!
Northgate Community Pride Foundation is proud to announce that, through the support of the community, the Mt. Diablo School District and the Wayne and Gladys Valley Foundation, is underway on the new track and field at the high school. Currently, bids are being considered and a Fall 2007 start date is expected for the project.

We are happy to announce that through a vigorous campaign effort, $1.2M dollars has been raised for the initial phase of construction which includes a new turf field and an all-weather track. The total cost of this phase is anticipated to be approximately $1.3M dollars so fundraising is still actively continuing. Additional funds will also be needed for the next phase of the project which includes lights and bleachers as well as a press box.

This is an exciting time for our students as well as the entire Northgate community. We are all a part of the dynamic changing landscape that is Northgate High School---the gym and the Little Theatre are successful projects that have been completed and enjoyed by many. Make a difference in your community today and be recognized as a donor who saw the vision of a top quality high school that supports its students and athletes.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this very important effort---give generously now.
