Established in 1999 by a group of parents and community leaders, the Northgate Community Pride Foundation is a community partnership between the parents, school administrators, Mount Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD), and the community to aid in the improvement and enhancement of educational and athletic facilities and programs at Northgate High School and other schools in the Northgate Community.
Since its inception, NCPF has been able to reach several major milestones, including: completion of the sports complex with new bleachers and lights, renovation of the gym, restoration of the Little Theatre and refurbishment of the dance studio and girls' locker room.
However, we have set out to complete our most ambitious project to date - the building of an all new
$8.1 million NHS Aquatics Center.

Northgate High School is breaking ground December 20, 2013 on its new $8.1M Aquatic Center and Sports Medicine Facility that is on schedule to be completed in the summer of 2014. The center will include a 40-meter x 25 yard 16 lane pool with outdoor lighting, together with a dedicated sports medicine training facility and classroom.
The majority of the funding for the pool, $7.1 million, has been provided through Measure C funds and the remainder will be raised from the community through the Northgate Community Pride Foundation (NCPF). Construction is on a fast track with phase 1 scheduled to be completed by September 1, 2014.
