2nd Annual Lap-A-Thon
Help Northgate High School Build a Pool

The second annual lap-a-thon was held to raise funds for the building of the Northgate High School aquatic center. Swimmers swam laps at the Woodland’s Cabana Club, to raise sponsored funds and gain the feeling of community pride. For more information contact

Fundraiser at Sports Basement

Thursday, November 8th.

The new Sports Basement Store hosted a fundraising event.  Appetizers and drinks were served to shoppers at the new store! 20% of all proceeds from the evening were donated by Sports Basement to the Northgate Community Pride Foundation. 

        A big THANK YOU!  to Sports Basement and everyone who shopped.

We raised $2,745!

The store is located in the Ygnacio Plaza Shopping Center across from Heather Farms Park.

Rocco's Ristorante Pizzeria Fundraising Days!

October 16 and 17

Northgate Community Pride Foundation held a fund raiser at Rocco's that raised

$ 1127.17. Rocco's donated an additional $1000! Thanks Rocco's.

Walnut Creek Kitchen Tour

The Walnut Creek Kitchen Tour event occurred on September 29^th, 2007.  It was a fabulous event!  The tour showcased 6 beautiful custom kitchens. 

With sales of tickets and with corporate sponsorships, the Kitchen Tour brought in approximately $20,000!  

Thank you to Liz Timmerman and Laura Hunter who led this event, and to all of the many other volunteers who helped to make this a great success.

First Annual Fathers’ Day Family Walk-A-Thon
Sunday, June 17, 2007 - Proceeds from the
Walk-A-Thon will be used towards a new Sports Complex for
Northgate High School Sporting events and Community Functions
Amount raised was $2175.00!

Lap-a-thon for future Aquatics Center
Clarke Dolliver organized the April 21, 2007 Lap-a-thon to raise money so Northgate can get a pool.

a total of $8220.00!

Results of the Feed the Bronco Campaign at Northgate High School:
Seniors topped the list with $776.26
Freshmen were next with $517.27
Sophomores followed closely with $502.26
Juniors finished up with $191.26
Total raised: $1987.05

Students were asked to donate an amount equal to their graduating year, i.e. $20.07, $20.08 etc. or any amount that they could! The classes competed with each other to see who could bring in the most money to support the new Sports Complex! 
The leadership group at Northgate High School worked with Northgate Pride members on this event!  Thank you to all who participated!!

Walnut Acres Caroling Party:

Elementary school children and their parents enjoyed an evening caroling with teachers from Walnut Acres and with students from Northgate High School.
